Techtel Completes Media Production Setup for a major AFL sporting organisation

(Sydney, Australia 15 June 2026) Techtel is pleased to announce the successful delivery of a new media production setup for a major AFL club in Melbourne. Completed in late January 2026, the project involved the installation of a lighting grid and background system designed to support the club’s daily content needs.

The project focused on providing a dedicated space for player interviews and digital content. By installing permanent lighting and backdrops, Techtel has helped the club streamline its media workflow, moving away from the need for temporary, ad-hoc equipment.

Techtel’s team managed the design and installation of a custom lighting grid, theatrical curtains, and a versatile infinity background system. The lights are managed via a DMX controller, allowing the media team of the AFL club to quickly adjust lighting for different requirements.

In the fast-moving world of AFL media, the ability to create high-quality content at short notice is essential. To support these demands, Techtel delivered a versatile and easy-to-use production environment for the major AFL club, combining professional presentation with operational simplicity. The result is a flexible content creation space that helps the club produce standout digital content quickly while maintaining a premium on-screen presence.
