When using a discount code PAYVIAEFT to complete an order without immediate online payment, the following terms apply:

1. Purpose of Code
   This code is provided solely to enable customers to submit their order for manual processing and payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). It does not represent a discount or price reduction.

2. Order Processing

   • Once your order is submitted using the code, Techtel will review your order and issue a formal tax invoice to the email address provided.

   • The invoice will include EFT payment details. Delivery fees will be included or excluded depending on the delivery option you selected at checkout.

3. Delivery and Collection

   • If you select Store Pickup or FREE PICK UP, SOFTWARE ONLY or EFT PAYMENT, your order will be prepared for pickup from Techtel’s office at 64 Hotham Parade, Artarmon NSW 2064.

   • Please phone (02) 9906 1488 to confirm stock availability before collecting your order.

   • Orders requiring delivery will be dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared.

4. Payment Terms

   • Payment via EFT must be made within the timeframe specified on your invoice.

   • Goods and software will not be released or activated until payment has been received in full.

5. No Obligation Until Payment Received
   Submitting an order using the EFT payment code does not constitute a completed purchase or a binding sales contract until payment has been confirmed by Techtel.

A 2% Handling Fee is applied to orders paid through our online checkout. This fee helps cover the merchant processing costs charged by our payment providers for credit and debit card transactions.

This fee applies only to orders completed online using card payment methods.

Orders paid via EFT/Bank Transfer do not incur this fee. Customers choosing to pay by EFT may bypass the online checkout and complete payment via invoice instead.

Techtel aims to maintain transparent and sustainable pricing. The Handling Fee ensures we can continue offering secure, convenient online payment options while offsetting the rising costs associated with card processing.

Techtel provides a secure connection for customer login however it is you who remains wholly responsible if your user name or password is used by an unauthorised person. You agree to release and indemnify Techtel in connection with any authorised or unauthorised use of your user name or password. Techtel reserves the right to suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.

Techtel agrees to comply with its posted Privacy Notice. Please refer to this document for further details. Personal information will not be revealed to external organisations, except for the purposes of fulfilling an order on the Techtel Online Store.

2. Purchasing from the Techtel Online Store

​Ordering Goods

Any order placed by you is considered an offer by you to purchase the particular item for the price (including delivery charges) specified on this site at the time you place your order. You acknowledge that, by placing your order, you are agreeing to pay for and accept delivery of the goods ordered unless you ask us to cancel that order, and we send you written confirmation of the cancellation prior to either the goods being dispatched, or if not in stock, prior to when we order the item from our supplier.

Techtel may change the prices published on this website at any time. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices and information displayed on the Techtel website, Techtel reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this site, or an error in your order. We may request that you provide additional verification or information before accepting your order.  We currently only accept orders from (and ship to) the following regions within the South Pacific; Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Tonga, Norfolk Island, Marshall Islands and East Timor.

Techtel reserves the right to restrict sales to retail quantities.

​Purchasing & Payment

For any purchases made on the Techtel Online Store, the purchaser must pay:

• The price associated with the relevant goods, as listed on the Techtel Online Store.

• The shipping fee as specified in the checkout process, or as quoted by Techtel should you request an alternate shipping quote.

  • All customer credit card details are safe and secure. Credit card details are not stored or collected by Techtel but are instead processed directly and securely through the Westpac PayWay payment gateway. All personal information provided to the Techtel Online Store is encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that ensures the safety of data as it is processed over the Internet. At the present stage we are only able to accept payments via VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JLB or via bank transfer. Payment must be cleared in full before good are dispatched or ordered from suppliers.

Delivery

All orders placed on the Techtel Online Store are confirmed and accepted at the discretion of Techtel. With reasonable prior notice given to you, we reserve the right to vary prices in the event of price changes or an error in the listed price of an item. Techtel will request payment for increased prices, though you have the right to cancel your order with us so long as we are advised within 7 days of notifying you of the price increase.

Orders will be delivered to the address specified in the checkout process, within the agreed time frame, subject to their availability. If goods are not available within the time frame we will notify you as soon as possible.

Any person who receives the goods at the delivery address will be presumed to be authorised to receive the goods. It is your responsibility to ensure that an authorised party is available to receive the goods. If there is no one at the delivery address to receive the order, Techtel may charge you additional delivery fees.

Title & Risk                                                                                                      

Title to the items purchased on The Techtel Online Store only passes from Techtel to you when full payment has been received for the items. All risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

All items on the Techtel Online Store are subject to our posted Shipping & Returns Policy. Please refer to this policy for further details.

Product Information, Prices & Photos

Prices are all in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclude Goods and Services Tax (applicable to shipments within Australia only). Price and range of products on the Techtel Online Store may vary from those available through Techtel’s regular business operations.

Techtel aim’s to maintain up-to-date pictures and details of all goods listed, however, occasionally these may vary. It is recommended that you read the manual and/or instructions of the goods carefully before use. Images are included for illustration purposes only, the product you receive may differ.

Specials Items

All items listed within the Specials area of the Techtel Online Store are sold on a no returns basis. Specials Items are either new, ex-demo stock, or have minor aesthetic imperfections. Unless stated otherwise all items come with a 30 day return and refund only warranty to show good faith that the products are in good working order at time of sale.

Orders for these items are processed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and we can therefore not guarantee order fulfilment at the placement of an order, or even after payment. If your order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you by phone or email. If the Specials Item is sold out, we are not required to supply you with an alternative product and we have no liability to you whatsoever.

Disclaimer of Liability

Only to the extent permitted by law, Techtel will not be held liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive loss or damages or any loss or damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with:

• The reproduction or repurposing of the contents of the Techtel Online Store.

• Goods supplied by Techtel under these Terms of Use.

• A failure or omission on the part of Techtel to comply with its obligations under these Terms of Use.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Use of the Techtel Online Store is at your own risk. All content contained within the site is believed to be accurate and reliable at the date the information was placed on the site. Techtel gives no warranty as to the accuracy of the information contained on this site, including that which relates to the products available for purchase. Shipping

• Orders are released for dispatch only upon receipt of cleared payment in full. If the item is not in stock then it will only be ordered from the supplier upon receipt of full payment.

• This website currently supports shipping to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, East Timor, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga, New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Prices are all in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclude Goods and Services Tax (applicable to shipments within Australia only). All freight costs will be shown as you proceed throughout the checkout process. Customers are able to request an alternate shipping quote should their country not be listed or if a different mode of shipment is desired.

• We aim to dispatch in-stock items within three working days of receipt of payment. For larger orders, custom orders and back-orders, please allow 15-20 days. If expected delivery time is outside 20 days we will contact you to confirm your acceptance of the expected time frame.

• Unless you instruct us otherwise, orders which are unable to be filled from in-stock items may be delivered in instalments.

• For items under 10kg we generally ship by way of Registered Australia Post. For larger shipments within Australia we will use Toll Ipec and for international orders we will ship via DHL, however, which freight company is used is subject to change at any time.  

• The deposit of goods with our nominated carrier for shipment constitutes supply for the purposes of this agreement, and, as a consequence, all risk associated with the loss of, or damage to, goods in transit rests with the purchaser. Similarly, the costs of, and sole responsibility for, transit insurance rests with the purchaser.

Returns

• No claim of discrepancy of order or pricing will be recognised after 7 days of receipt of goods. All returns must be confirmed by phone or email.

• Returns are at the purchasers expense, in new or saleable condition with the packaging and seals intact.

• A restocking fee of 20% will be charged for any incorrectly ordered goods.

• If an order is found to be incorrect as a direct result of error on the part of Techtel, the goods will be resupplied and any extra freight will be covered by us.
