Parliament of Tasmania Future-Proofs Broadcast Recording with Techtel’s Latest inflo Upgrade

Sydney, Australia – 09 September 2025 – Techtel today announced that the Parliament of Tasmania has deployed the latest version of inflo™ media management platform, upgrading from V2 to V3 to power the recording and distribution of parliamentary proceedings.

A long-standing inflo customer since 2019, the Parliament relies on inflo to capture and manage all broadcast video and audio of parliamentary proceedings across its chambers and committee meeting rooms. This latest upgrade modernises both software and hardware infrastructure, delivering a faster, more resilient, and feature-rich environment.

The Parliament of Tasmania has now upgraded from inflo V2 to the latest V3 release, commissioning a robust and future-proof platform designed to support evolving parliamentary workflows.

“The Parliament of Tasmania has been an early adopter of inflo, and this upgrade ensures their broadcast recording systems remain at the forefront of capability and flexibility,” said Peter Stevens, Senior Product Manager at Techtel. “By moving to V3, they are not only modernising today but also preparing for tomorrow’s workflows.”

With the new deployment now fully commissioned and in production, the Parliament will benefit from a range of powerful new features. These include Live Edit and Export, enabling recordings to be edited and exported during live proceedings; Adobe Premiere Pro integration, which allows push and pull of content directly within the Premiere Pro environment; and Content Import, enabling seamless integration of external media. The system also introduces Custom Branding to reflect Parliament’s logos and identity, along with Audio Meters that provide a clear visual representation of audio levels even when muted.

In addition, enhanced User and Group Permissions deliver fine-grained access control across the content library, ingest, and user interface, while Unlimited User Logins ensure that all staff and authorised external users can securely access the platform through credential-based authentication.

In addition to these active features, the Parliament now has access to a suite of optional advanced capabilities, such as live transcription services, real-time dashboards, Microsoft Entra ID integration for user authentication, searchable custom metadata, and redundancy for recording channels.

Chris Machin, from the Parliament of Tasmania, confirmed that the new deployment is now live and providing the institution with greater efficiency, control, and flexibility in managing parliamentary content.
