I have just returned from the Egatel factory in Spain and wanted to share a few snapshots of information with you (literally!).
We learned of their recent 93 high power transmitter sale to Turkey
... their new exciter with adaptive pre-correction
...and plans for a new liquid cooled high power transmitter shipping later this year.
We learned of the 1000+ medium power transmitters rolled out across Spain and the recent 12 x 100W gap fillers with echo cancellers shipped to Taiwan.
And saw them shipping 25 of their low power microtransmitter frames every week...
...loaded with microtransmitters, gapfillers and their new remodulator...
...all racked, packed and ready to roll!
We saw their clean room facility...
...for high yield pick and place PCB production
I was very impressed with the cohesive team leading and delivering of the first class DVB-T/T2 product range. Egatel is part of the massive €2.25bn COMSA EMTE Group.
I wish you could have been there to see it too.
