Broadcast Engineering has just announced the winners of the Pick Hit awards for IBC 2010. The prestigious Pick Hit Awards are the industry’s longest-running product technology awards for broadcast and production. They are selected by a panel of independent judges who tour the convention floor looking for innovative products and technology.
We are proud to announce that our partner Screen Subtitling Systems have received a Pick Hit award for their new 3D subtitling editing suite Poliscript 3DITOR, which was designed to create and position 3D subtitles in stereographic media and is compatible with all forms of current 3D technology. Its output formats include 3D Blu-Ray, digital cinema, 3D broadcast, mobile, VOD and IPTV. 3DITOR is the first of its kind and represents another major innovation for Screen.
Poliscript 3DITOR is fully backwards compatible with 2D subtitle files and with Screen’s world-leading transmission system, Polistream Black.
