TV Logic announces OP-47 capability

Sydney, 10 December 2009 - TV Logic together with local distributor Techtel are proud to announce the implementation of the Free TV Australia Operational Practice OP-47, available on TV Logic’s LVM-173 and LVM-243 broadcast monitors. Compatibility with OP-47 allows for the decoding of closed captions on High Definition video signals.

“Through close cooperation with Techtel we are proud to have developed and now offer this feature to the Australian broadcast community who represent one of our most loyal markets” said TV Logic Chief Executive, Sung Il Cho. Aided by a Free TV member's provision of pre-recorded OP-47 material, TV Logic began work on developing the feature after the OP-47 standard was published in December 2008.
